Maxine Godley
MA Hons, PGCE, Cert Ed Psych, C.Psychol, AFBPsS
I have worked in Education and Educational Psychology in a variety of settings for over twenty five years. I have found that Educational Psychology can be applied to support and help adult learners as well as children and young people to reach their potential and achieve goals. I provide advice and assessment for learning difficulties such as dyslexia, dyspraxia, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) and autistic spectrum disorder (ASD). The assessment provides the clients with insights to help to use their strengths to achieve their goals. Having worked in local authorities, schools and multi agency settings, I am able to work in partnership with schools and other agencies to benefit the client. I believe that making the service friendly and accessible is crucial to successful working.
